Where our attenuation data comes from
Our earmuffs are tested by Michael & Associates, Inc. (State College, Pennsylvania, USA) — an independent laboratory accredited under the US National Institute of Standards and Technology National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP Lab Code 100427-0), meeting the requirements of ISO 17025.
Accreditation covers EN 352 parts 1–10, ANSI S3.19-1974, ANSI S12.6-2016, ANSI S12.42-2010, and AS/NZS 1270:2002.
Testing follows the real-ear attenuation at threshold (REAT) method with 16 normally-hearing subjects across 7 test frequencies, as required by the standard. Reports include mean and standard deviation values.
Laboratory-derived attenuation data is provided for comparison purposes. Actual protection in field use depends on fit, wearing time and condition of the product.

Both reports dated 12 December 2022. The laboratory describes the test item as an electronic muff-type hearing protector, which covers the shared shell across this product family.

CE certification (PPE Regulation EU 2016/425)
CE certification is issued by CCQS Certification Services Ltd. (Blanchardstown, Dublin, Ireland), Notified Body No. 2834, under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment.
Our certification is held under Module D — quality assurance of the production process. This means the Notified Body audits our production consistency on an ongoing basis, rather than approving a single type sample once.
